Ashton Shepherd Album Release Party.

Friday morning we had the pleasure of catching a last minute set with Ashton Shepherd down on lower Broad. And let usss tell you, if this girl isn’t country we don’t know who is. Her brand new album, “Where Country Grows” just hit stores and she stopped in to play a few tunes. Totally free of charge. Despite being a few months pregnant, Miss Shepherd was full of energy and in the sweetest of spirits, telling rowdy stories and poking fun at her recent craving for soft drinks. She sang a few tunes from her new album, and a few earlier songs, including her current single, “Look It Up,” Which is her top grossing single to date, as well as her first single, “Sounds So Good,” and lots more. What we love most about Ashton is how real she is. 100 percent. She’s not a barbie doll, and isn’t trying to be. She’s a self admitted tomboy, completely down home and completely proud of it. Some people are born to be country singers, and Ashton Sheppherd is one of them.
